Who is this training for?
Yoga and Pilates teachers, barre and fitness instructors, and midwives who would like to expand their existing knowledge of movement after birth.
What will you learn?
Understand: Explore recovery following different birth experiences and the relationship between the pelvic floor, abdominal wall and breathing. Learn to recognize and understand common symptoms, warning signs and emotional challenges.
Apply: Adapt exercises and training intensity to individual recovery, current symptoms and previous training experience.
Teach: Structure and adapt postnatal and mum-and-baby classes, and give clear instructions. Practical exercises, class observations and personalized feedback support your learning.
What will you be able to do afterwards?
Within the scope of your existing qualifications, you will be able to plan and teach postnatal and mum-and-baby sessions. You will be able to increase training demands gradually, support women as they transition into regular classes and recognize when further professional assessment is needed.
