Inversions have the power to elicit a range of emotions, they build strength, balance and give confidence. It is so much fun to see the world in another perspective.
The invitation to invert is simply another way to shake things up, step out of a rut. In this class we will prepare to be upside down and bring our heart closer to the earth. Focusing on correct body alignment and balance we will practice flow sequence with grounding and strengthening postures. We will use props and make the wall our new friend.
This class is open for all levels and taught in english.
About Gat:
In my dance education in SEAD academy I have found Yoga. A path that leads me to find balance between myself and my body. My work as a professional dancer is physically and mentally very demanding. Through my Yoga practice, I can find peace and stability between work and life, between real and dreamy, between body and soul. Yoga for me is a connection between all levels of the human psyche. I appreciate the positive impact it has to my life, and I love to share it with others.
I started my Yoga practice in 2010 with a daily Iyengar Yoga class for 4 years. From 2015 to 2017 I practiced Vinyasa flow. This dynamic style is still main part of my daily practice, which now also includes other aspects, as Yin, Hatha, Kundalini Yoga and more.
In 2018 I completed my YogaWorks 200h Teacher Training at YogaKula. My classes are a combination of Vinyasa & Hatha Yoga. I also enjoy bringing to the classes from my dance experience and the knowledge of the body. I am particularly attracted to inversion practice and creative sequences between the asanas and the human body.
