Preis: 17€

Join me and my good friend and Collaborative and Mediator Lawyer, Jacinta Gallant for 4 days of heart practice.
Jacinta is the founder of Innovation for lawyers and “Our Family in Two Home” which is a resource package that provides lawyers with a highly effective way to engage with clients and families. In just a few short years of launching, this workbook is now used by lawyers all over the world.
Jacinta is known for her keen intelligence, engaging personality, practical, and non-judgemental approach to conflict AND a yogi at heart with great taste in music!

Each morning practice will have a 40-45 minute practice, followed with a 10-15 minute information session with Jacinta.

Day 1.

Heart Opening.
We invite this practice to create some opening and space around our heart. We want to not just see what is in front of us, but do some work to see what is inside of us. An open heart to help us connect and communicate clearly and in a meaningful way by receiving the nourishment of the heart. We tap into the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine for this one. Using the energy channels of the heart that travel along the arms, shoulders and neck. Also a great one for rotator cuff health. In TCM the heart is said to hold our “Shen” or Spirit. This practice will look to tap into the deeper intelligence of the body, and show up in our lives in a real, authentic way.

Time: 45 min
Props: Strap
Block or Blocks

Day 2.

Heart Clearing.
Grit and Grace. We move back inside the gates of the heart we created in day one and we continue to shed. First it takes getting there then it takes work to stay there. We allow this practice to clear any obstacles and resistance. We practice being in this pocket of feeling and come out the other side feeling invested in love, invested in life and hold ourselves tenderly through the process.

Time: 45 min
Props: optional sneakers

Day 3.

Heart Healing.
Now we instil a healthy dose of gratitude. Research indicates that positive thinking and gratitude activates certain neurotransmitters and can change neural pathways. This acts as a natural antidepressant and boosts overall well being. We use awareness and meditation as well as postures and pranayama and a bit of acupressure.

Time: 45 min
Props: block
Optional Journal

Day 4.

Heart Rest.
Ahhhhh. We live in a society that doesn’t place quite enough emphasis on the importance of rest for nourishment, healing and strengthening. We start with a few minutes of myofascial release to release tight tissue, then we rest. The focus is self-love and care through some gentle heart opening poses using props. So gather items from around your house, like cushions, blankets, bolsters and enjoy!

Time: 40 min
Props: 2-3 blankets, or bolster, eye pillow, cushions, blocks ..
2 myofascial release balls
