“I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years, and I never imagined there could be so many different ways to design a yoga class. Even today, I continue to surprise myself with new variations and sequences. This keeps both me and my students curious, alert, and present.” — Katrin Roschangar

Yoga sequencing is the art of thoughtfully and intelligently arranging the components of a yoga class into a meaningful sequence. A well-prepared sequence creates a cohesive arc throughout the class, taking participants on an inspiring journey through body and mind. Sequencing forms the foundation upon which we can grow and explore our own potential.

We draw inspiration from a vast pool of variations, including Surya Namaskaras (Sun Salutations), asanas, pranayama practices, and meditation techniques. With a playful approach, our aim is to bring clarity and structure to the sequence. Rather than moving superficially from one pose to the next, we dive deeper into a chosen theme, opening up unexpected possibilities along the way.

The day begins with a powerful two-hour yoga practice, introducing various sequencing methods. After the lunch break, we will explore and analyze different approaches and put them into practice through partner and group work.

This workshop is designed for yoga teachers as well as interested practitioners who want to develop a solid yet inspiring toolkit for yoga sequencing in Vinyasa Flow classes.
