Adelene believes in supporting and guiding her students to unveil their fullest potential, through embodiment and experiential learning. She is particularly interested in the therapeutic applications of yoga. Her classes and workshops are educational and exploratory, inquiry-based and reflective.

Since 2000, through extensive practice, study, research and experiential exploration, Adelene has developed a non-invasive approach to practising and living with scoliosis. This is now offered in a 30 hours Intensive Program annually. As a leading Yoga for Scoliosis and Restorative Yoga Trainer, she is absolutely committed to a balance of active asana, restorative practices, meditation and a healthy responsible lifestyle.

Based in London, Adelene teaches internationally, with a special interest in Yoga for Scoliosis / Backcare, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation. She is a trainer and mentor on various reputable Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Program.

Open Class: Relax Restore Stillness

Practice-based class focusing on Rest and Silence. Experience the art of Relaxation, shifting from sympathetic to parasympathetic dominance over this 2 hour class. To heal, to grow, to renew, to restore, to reset for harmony and health.

The body and mind already know how to heal and rejuvenate, we only need to offer time, space and ❤️. This is a process of supporting and allowing, minus the intention of doing and acting.

This is a rare opportunity to practice with Adelene Cheong. She believes that Relaxation is a skill that can be learned and refined. In this class, Adelene will guide you through the process of Relaxation, to transition from the moment you arrive on your mat to the moment you leave the room. Great way to move into your weekend.
